Dr. Matthew S. Carmien graduated with highest distinction from Indiana University with a Bachelor of Science in Biology, and went on to receive his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Indiana University School of Dentistry. Upon graduation, he was recognized and awarded for excellence in removable prosthodontics and is an inductee of the Phi Beta Kappa honors society, Gamma Indiana chapter. He is an active member in the Kosciusko County Dental Society, as well as the Indiana Dental Association and American Dental Association. Dr. Carmien has completed training for certification in oral sedation dentistry. He is married to Betsy, a registered dietitian. They have a daughter, Cailynn, born in 2013, and a son, Chandler, born in summer 2015. Dr. Carmien practices as a general dentist in all disciplines.
